Is this good to eat?
As you might have noticed, Micah's in that stage where everything goes in his mouth. Well, except rice cereal, that is! Our attempts at getting him to take it on the spoon or in the bottle have been thwarted, most likely by his experience with sweet things like Pedialyte and various medication he's had to be on. Instead, we're moving on to a vegetable this week. Maybe later, we'll add some fruit to the cereal. For now, he's turning out to be a picky eater!Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Belated Easter greeting
Micah had a few things to say about Easter, only I couldn't load the video until today! Here is a special greeting from him for the grandparents. We had a great weekend with a delicious ham dinner on Sunday, some spring cleaning and movies.

Parrot friend
Micah was making all kinds of sounds in the jumperoo this afternoon so I thought I'd capture some on video. He loves the red parrot that hangs from it :-) I think he's pretty much recovered from his bout with the immunizations!

Sitting up
Micah is learning to sit up with some help, of course. Here he is doing his thing on the couch! We've learned a little something about his napping habits. He never likes taking a nap, but he'll do it, only he wants to do it on his own terms. In other words, the best way to get him down is to pretend like you're trying to for awhile until he gets mad, then leave him in the bouncy chair awake and walk away--this usually works! If all else fails break out the big guns--a car ride.
